Access to menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) is a global issue affecting nearly 500 million people. Despite being on the international agenda, there is still a lack of data to identify effective levers in this area. This article presents the results of evaluations of two innovative projects carried out in Madagascar and Ethiopia. By adopting an integrated approach, these projects addressed access to menstrual products, infrastructure, and the fight against stigma. The evaluations present convergent results and demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach, as well as the central role of psychosocial dimensions.
